Is CognitoHire self-hosted or cloud?
Both, and it’s the same platform either way. Run it on your own infrastructure (VPC, on-prem, air-gapped) with local LLMs via Ollama or vLLM — candidate data never leaves your perimeter. Or use our managed cloud in the region you choose (India, EU, US). The intelligence doesn’t change because of where the servers are.
What does it cost?
A flat platform fee scaled to your hiring volume, plus an optional services tier for setup and integration. No per-CV billing. No surprise overages — built-in quota enforcement caps usage rather than letting it run up a bill. Billable in INR, USD, or EUR. Talk to us for a quote against your actual volume.
How long does deployment take?
Managed cloud is live the same day or next morning. Self-hosted on your infrastructure is typically live within 24 hours of kickoff. A full pilot — deployed, configured, tuned against your historical hire data, running on three real roles — takes 14 days end to end.
Which AI models does it use?
Vendor-agnostic. Run local models (Llama, Mistral, Qwen via Ollama/vLLM) for zero per-query cost and full data sovereignty, or connect hosted models (OpenAI, Anthropic) if you prefer. The LangGraph supervisor and critic architecture works the same regardless of the underlying model.
Is my candidate data used to train models?
No. We do not train models on your candidate data without explicit written authorisation. In self-hosted mode we never see your data at all. In managed mode it’s stored encrypted in your chosen region and used only to operate the platform for you.
What integrations are supported?
Ingestion from Gmail, Outlook, IMAP, folder watch, and major job boards. Migration from Workday, Greenhouse, Lever, Naukri, and custom in-house systems. SSO via SAML/OIDC, SCIM provisioning, and audit-log export to your SIEM. HRIS sync with SuccessFactors, Workday HCM, and BambooHR.
Is it compliant with GDPR, DPDP, and similar?
CognitoHire is built GDPR-ready and CCPA-aligned, with India’s DPDP Act in scope, and a self-hosted option that keeps data inside your own perimeter. SOC 2 is on our roadmap. We treat compliance as a floor, not a marketing badge — the platform is DPIA-ready and produces the audit trails your legal team needs out of the box.
